So, how do they love thee? Let us count the ways:

1.) $2,500 SHOPPING SPREE:  Shoppers enter on-site at Tanger Shopper Services from Feb. 8-21. (Shopper Services are located at Tanger Surfside next to Van Heusen, and at Tanger Seaside next to Zumiez.)  A random winner will be chosen from among all Tanger properties nationwide.

2.) RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS:  Shoppers on the sidewalks and inside stores at Tanger Rehoboth will be surprised by a prize patrol. Patrollers hand out $100 each day in gift cards, and pick up the tab for purchases of lucky shoppers.

3.) FACEBOOK REWARDS: Tanger Rehoboth’s Facebook page will randomly reward customers with gift cards who express why they love shopping at Tanger Outlets.

Back-to-school fashion camp

When I was a school girl, I agonized over the outfit I would wear for the first day of school. Even in second grade, it’s important to make a great first impression.

Back-to-School-with-Tanger-OutletsAt the KidSTYLE Fashion Camp at the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach on Aug. 8, every shopper age 7-12 will receive a camp backpack and back-to-school survival tips. Moms and dads will find great deals on shoes, clothes and school supplies.

Looking for fashion tips for the upcoming school year? There will be fashion show at 4:30 p.m., where celeb local families will strut their stuff in back-to-school styles.

Customers also are eligible to win a Grand Prize trip to Orlando for a family of four, including travel, hotel, Disney World park passes, and a back-to-school gift pack. Sweepstakes entries can be submitted Aug. 1- Aug. 31 on the Tanger Outlets website or at any Tanger Outlet Center.

In addition, shoppers at all Tanger centers who spend $75 will receive a free pair of Tanger KidSTYLE ear buds. The deal is good while supplies last.

Rehoboth outlet gets an update

The Tanger Outlet retail mecca on Route 1 in Rehoboth Beach is only 19 years old and is already getting a facelift.

UnknownA $10 million renovation on the Midway shops, the middle of the three complexes in Delaware, began Feb. 26 and includes a new paint job, as well as new tower details that rev up the façade.  New siding, lighting, and architectural details will up the ante on curb appeal and play up the coastal vibe.

In addition to enhancing the look, the seven-month project will include the addition of a raised pedestrian walkway from one side of the Midway property to the other. The shopping center also will renovate the public restrooms in the former food court area.

The Midway location is home to 45 brand-name and designer outlet stores in 186,000 square feet of retail space, including Michael Kors, Kate Spade New York, Dooney & Bourke, Cole Haan, Tommy Bahama, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Vineyard Vines. And no sales tax!

Midway’s shopping sisters are Bayside and Seaside. Bayside includes 27 brand-name  stores in 144,000 square feet;  Seaside has 60 brand-name and designer outlet stores  in 238,000 square feet.
